From guns and roses to tales of Hoffmann an explosive works in the Phoenix Park; the industrious landscape of rural County Galway; glassworks at Belfast’s Sirocco Works; planning strategies for Dublin’s industrial heritage; the McCutcheon Archive project; gasworks at Islandbridge and Chapelizod; and brick kilns in urban Belfast and rural County Down were just some of the fascinating areas covered in a very successful conference held in Dundalk in November 2008.
